The Department currently has 19 primary faculty and 13 secondary faculty members. Secondary faculty members have appointments in other basic science or clinical departments but participate in our graduate program. Almost all of our faculty are  members of the Graduate Program in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. They participate in the teaching, both in lectures and as thesis mentors, and in the administration (committees) of our students.
